Rules & Ethics
Gods and enforcers roam this world and will put you in jail or otherwise punish you if you break these rules:
Griefing is prohibited on both Earth and Skylands.
Ugly buildings are not allowed.
Nice people and buildings will be rewarded.
Promotion policy
Miners will be promoted according to their abilities and reputation through voting by Gods. Each responsibility carries different perks to make it easier to carry out their jobs.
When a God or other ranked player spots a talented miner, that miner will be continuously observed before any promotion is offered. Thereafter, that miner may be tested and challenged before final promotion takes place.

Gods have demonstrated loyalty, honesty and integrity to other miners. They also are skilled in any of the following skills: colony management, construction, redstone or architecture.
Auxiliators assist the Gods. They also are skilled in any of the following skills: colony management, construction, redstone or architecture.
MVPs and VIPs are miners who have donated to the Server to keep it running. They get cake on their birthdays, among other perks.
Architects are miners who have built amazing, epic or intricate structures. Such structures must have a high aesthetic value, though not necessarily highly functional. Beautiful and functional structures that serve the public are encouraged.
Builders have demonstrated competence in town planning and redstone engineering. They are responsible for keeping public infrastructure such as railways, roads and bridges in working order.
Enforcers enforce the law. They can jail and mute violators of the law through due process. Appeals and complaints can be made on Facebook for final judgment by the Gods.
Citizenship is awarded to miners who demonstrate basic survival skills and obey the law. They must have played for at least one month and have built something of substance. Citizens can call for help from enforcers, among other minor perks.
Dissidents are citizens who deliberately and consistently choose to rebel or break the law. They lose enforcer protection and may be jailed without notice.
